Atlas Travel International's Kerin McKinnon Receives Business Travel Professional Service Award for 2009:
Annual Award Recognizes Dedication and Commitment to Travel Industry
June 29, 2009: Milford , Massachusetts – Atlas Travel International's Vice President of Global Business Development for the Western United States, Kerin McKinnon, is a recipient of the Chapter Presidents Council of the National Business Travel Association's (NBTA) Business Travel Professional Service Award. The awards, given out yearly, honor those who have shown a continued dedication and commitment to the travel industry.
“I am extremely honored to be given such an award,” said Ms. McKinnon. “Being a part of the New England Chapter of NBTA has been such a rewarding experience for me personally and professionally by itself that being recognized like this is very humbling. I am looking forward to my further connection with NBTA and my ongoing work with them.”
Ms. McKinnon has more than 25 years of experience spanning the areas of hotel, travel management and travel technology. As an industry leader and advocate, McKinnon has headed up the 2007 NBTA Convention Planning Committee in Boston . She was recently appointed to the National Business Travel Association Political Action Committee (NBTAPAC), where she works to educate legislators on important travel-related issues. Ms. McKinnon has been with active with NEBTA since the mid-90s. She has been with Atlas Travel International since October of 2004.

Ms. McKinnon will be receiving her award on August 22, 2009, just prior to the NBTA 2009 International Convention and Exposition. This year the convention is held in San Diego from August 23 – 26.
