Canada Acts To Extend Tax Rebates For Convention Attendees

The Canadian government has included a "Foreign Convention and Tour Incentive Program" in its federal budget, which will in effect continue tax rebates that reimburses non-resident attendees at conventions in Canada. The Rebate program officially ends on April 1.
The new program takes effect on March 31. It does not include tax rebates for individual travelers from foreign countries.
