Northwest eases reservation-change rules

Northwest Airlines today said it will extend its FlyNow option, which allows customer to make reservation changes for a $25 fee, to include flights throughout the entire day of departure.
Previously, paying the $25 only entitled consumers to change their flight plan within three hours of scheduled departure. Outside of that three-hour period, a $100 fee applied.
The FlyNow service is available to passengers traveling within the continental United States, Alaska and to or from Canada
