A Message from Atlas CEO Elaine Osgood: Here We GROW Again!
For more than 20 years, the Atlas Travel International team has been providing world-class travel management services. Atlas has experienced significant growth, particularly during the past few years. We have added many new customers and seen growth from many of our long-term partners. Thanks to our customers, Atlas was recently ranked (on volume) as the 27th largest US-based agency by Business Travel News. This was our first time entering the prestigious list.
Managing our growth is one of the most exciting challenges I've enjoyed since the agency opened in 1986. From July 2005 to July 2006, Atlas' transaction volume nearly doubled and, to accommodate this growth, we more than doubled the size of our agent staff. In 2007, our transaction volume has grown by more than 15 percent and we have added nearly 20 percent to our agent staff. Our agent teams have been (and will continue to be) trained and empowered to provide the best customer experience for our travelers. When you call our office, you may be greeted by a new team member. We believe that you will find the new team as effective, efficient and friendly as ever.
Our agent teams are staffed from 8 am to 11 pm EST, Monday – Friday, and always backed up by our 24/7 after hours support group.
As we head into the fall of 2007, we are meeting our objectives for service, profitability and growth. We are very fortunate that we are considered the employer of choice for travel professionals, allowing us to acquire the best talent in the industry and, in turn, give our travelers the best in customer care.
