Atlas Travel International Offered an Escape from Convention in LA

On Monday, July 28th, during the NBTA National Convention in Los Angeles, Atlas Travel International hosted an evening with Italian Chef Enrico Croatti at La Terza, the award-winning restaurant at LA's chic boutique hotel, The Orlando (www.theorlando.com). Guests were whisked away from the convention center by stretch limousines to a private room at La Terza. The event was hosted by Atlas Travel and sponsored by Rearden Commerce, Airplus and Ridewell Limousine. Guests included the president of BCD Travel, as well as travel managers from TJX, Discover Financial Services, National Football League Players Association, GTECH, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, US Foods and Bain & Company.

During the week's convention activities, more than 6450 corporate travel professionals, including more than 1400 travel buyers, filled the Los Angeles Convention Center to attend 40 ground-breaking education sessions. The Expo, the largest in NBTA history, held more than 130,000 square feet of booth space and 475 exhibitors. Atlas Executive Vice President of Global Business Development Kerin McKinnon made a  presentation during the convention with Senior Vice President of Rearden Commerce Tony D'Alfonso.

The entire week was great fun and very informative. We're looking forward to next year's NBTA Convention in the San Diego Convention Center.
