New daily nonstop, capital-to-capital service begins March 28, 2007

CHICAGO, Feb. 13, 2007 – United will introduce the first-ever nonstop, capital-to-capital service between Washington, D.C., and Beijing beginning March 28, 2007, and is offering customers a chance to travel to the city with special low fares and bonus Mileage Plus® miles.
Sample fares* to Beijing on United are each way, based on required roundtrip purchase by Feb. 23, 2007, for travel between March 28, 2007, and June 1, 2007. Fares are valid for travel on select off-peak days; see below or visit united.com.

Mileage Plus members can also earn bonus miles on a United flight to/from Beijing or Shanghai. When a customer purchases and flies a qualifying United roundtrip between the United States; Canada; Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Beijing or Shanghai, they can earn:
- 10,000 bonus miles for United First® (F, A booking classes) or United Business® (C, D booking classes)
- 7,500 bonus miles for United Business (Z booking class) or United Economy® (Y, B, M, H booking classes)
- 5,000 bonus miles for discounted United Economy (Q,V,W booking classes)
Travel between the United States; Canada; Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands and Beijing or Shanghai must take place between March 28, 2007, and June 30, 2007, to be eligible for this promotion.
United also offers customers four other daily, nonstop flights to mainland China, including Chicago-Beijing, San Francisco-Beijing, Chicago-Shanghai, and San Francisco-Shanghai.
