Atlas Travel International's 2007 Employee Survey Shows Positive Results
With Atlas Travel's employee count up to 98 from 62 team members at the same time last year, agency CEO Elaine Osgood was gratified by the results of the recently completed 2007 Employee Survey. While the company has experienced explosive growth, the employee satisfaction index has remained in the high nineties in this web-based anonymous survey. “This, along with customer feedback, is our real focus,” said Osgood. “We've built this company with a close, positive culture and I'm determined to continue that trend. I'm pleased that even our newest employees, who have joined us from a wide variety of competitors, have found Atlas to be an excellent place to work.”
The agency has retained its extremely high 2006 marks on the following indicators of employee satisfaction:On the question of how employees rank the level of service Atlas Travel provides to its customers, 95 percent of employees said “Excellent” or “Good.”
- This is a very good place to work. 92 percent agree or strongly agree.
- I am proud to be an employee of Atlas Travel. 94 percent agree or strongly agree.
“As with many growing organizations, said Osgood, “the areas of continuous training and internal communication are the challenges. We are working very hard to address employee comments and incorporate their recommendations quickly. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the results of the survey. I think it's important to give our team an annual opportunity to respond to these key questions to make sure we are headed in the right direction.”
