BCD Asks Atlas Travel International to Present Strategies for Winning Business

On April 1st, at the Ritz in Half Moon Bay, Atlas Travel International will reveal to 47 fellow BCD Travel affiliates how the agency grew so dramatically in 2007.

“We've been asked to share our secrets of success for winning new business,” said Atlas CEO Elaine Osgood, who has served on the BCD Board of Directors for several years. “This is quite a prestigious request and I will be joined in the presentation by our Executive Vice President of Global Business Development Kerin McKinnon and our Director of Sales Cindy Sauter, who are really responsible for winning the business.”

The team will present a “Best in Finals” workshop entitled “Champions: Playing to Win,” that outlines how Atlas approaches communicating its message to prospective clients. All three women believe the best way to win business is to be the best.

“I've always believed you win one account at a time,” said Osgood, “by servicing one traveler at a time. That's how I've approached this business for 21 years. Then it's about capitalizing on your strengths and getting the word out.”  

Atlas is ranked #11 out of 48 U.S. BCD Travel affiliates who represent more than $2 billion in airline sales alone. This will mark the first time Atlas has presented formally to the group.
