Atlas Travel International to Verify Passport Information
Please let all travelers know that their dedicated Atlas Travel agent will be asking each traveler for his/her passport number and expiration date when they make their first 2008 reservation. This information will be used to verify that travelers have correct passport information in their traveler profiles. This is our way of being proactive on new rulings that will go into effect later this year by the U.S. Government, requiring all airlines to provide passport information in advance of flight departures. Atlas Travel will be required, when the regulation goes into effect, to provide this information to the airlines when a reservation is made to ensure that this requirement is observed. We are working to update all records now so that we are able to both comply with government regulations and help our travelers stay on top of these requirements in advance.
