Atlas Rocks NBTA!
As this issue of Communiqué is produced, the Atlas Travel International team is going strong at the NBTA convention in Boston. We're pleased to report brisk traffic at both Atlas Booth 2440 and Savvy Travel Shop Booth 550. Chief Technology Officer Rock Blanco had people backed up in the aisles on opening day with his demonstrations of the agency's newest technology offerings: Dashboard and Travel GPA. All visitors who took a "test drive" of the technology learned about the agency's unparalleled maneuverability, high performance and ability to get up to speed faster than the rest. Test drivers also were entered in a drawing to win an heirloom quality 1953 Corvette Kiddie Car (winner will be announced next week in Communiqué).
Atlas Travel also hosted an exotic adventure on Monday night, where a select group of convention guests were treated to a Rock Star bus ride from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center to an undisclosed location for drinks, good food, entertainment and great conversation. The party revealed itself as a unique celebration in Cambridge in a little-known gem called The Enormous Room. Guests ascended a set of wooden steps to find a space that was part Kasbah, part speakeasy... dark with oriental rugs, exposed brick, wooden drum tables, tapestried cushions and benches ringing the walls. Lured by the sounds of Eastern music, guests quickly found an exotic belly dancer performing above the crowd and Marrakech martinis being served. Later Horns in the House (think Earth, Wind & Fire) got guests up and dancing with fabulous music! Atlas would like to thank Avis, A Briggs and KDS for partnering on this exclusive adventure.
