Starting July 15th: No curbside shuttle or limo pick-up in Logan's Terminal B & C!

While Massport is still being lobbied on this, it is expected that July 15th will start these new regulations. If you are arriving on flights into Boston at Terminals B or C (this includes Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, American Eagle, Spirit Airlines, US Airways and the US Airways Shuttle), pre-hired transportation will no longer be allowed to wait curbside.

ALL passengers waiting for curbside transportation will have to call the dispatcher to inform him that they are awaiting transport. The vehicle will then be dispatched from the Massport transportation lot ( a few minutes away on airport property) to pick up the passenger. Massport will no longer allow any vehicle at the curb that is not involved in active loading or unloading. If anyone is found in non-compliance with this new mandate, they will be told to leave the area immediately.

Just under 63,000 limos were registered at the Logan limo pool in May.

"The overcrowding of vehicles on limo stands in Terminal B and C has become a matter of public safety," said Logan Aviation Director Ed Freni. "There are also several environmental issues as well, involving vehicles idling for more than normal times."

Several companies recommend that travelers call dispatchers via cell phone as soon as their plane touches down on the runway, which will allow the drivers time to reach the pick-up area and avoid waiting time.

You will find the dispatcher's phone number on your Atlas itinerary... this is the phone number for the livery service you have reserved.
