JetBlue Tweaks Seating Policy Atlas Travel, 3/18/2008 JetBlue has put into place a new policy regarding seat selection. On Monday, March 17, Atlas Travel agents noted two important changes: •  JetBlue now allows seat assignment prior to purchasing a reservation. Previously, agents could select a seat only after the ticket was issued. •  JetBlue now charges an additional $15 for a seat with 38” leg room. Standard seats with 36” leg room do not carry an additional charge.
