Atlas Travel International's tech support team regularly receives requests for information about Cliqbook. Through our Cliqbook Tips, we'll pass on the answers to the questions being asked, so that everyone learns!
Cliqbook Question:
Can you explain the Cliqbook booking of discount airlines like JetBlue and AirTran?
Cliqbook Tip:
When using Cliqbook, all Instant Purchase Carriers (i.e. JetBlue, AirTran, Spirit, RyanAir, etc.) are indicated by an "Instant Purchase" notification on the reserve screen. Once you hit "reserve," the system will bring you directly to the Instant Purchase carrier website. Since this is taking you out of Cliqbook and onto another site, it is important to follow all instructions. Once the purchase is complete in the carrier website, you will be brought back to the Cliqbook site to complete the transaction for your eInvoice, ticketing and management reports.
If any interruption takes place, this will cause either a sold reservation in the carrier website, for which you will receive no confirmation, or the reservation simply will not complete. It is very important when dealing with any Instant Purchase Carrier that you allow the system to continue processing in full. This will require patience at times, depending on how busy the Internet may be. Late afternoons and evenings are usually peak time for the Internet, so you may need to be patient to let the system complete before closing out.
Atlas Travel will make every attempt to correct any issue you have. However, since these are Instant Purchase Carriers, many times all we can do is put the duplicate tickets into TicketBank if multiple reservations were made by mistake. It is also important that you check your login screen under "Upcoming Trips" to see if there are any unfinished trips or trips that may have had an error in processing. Atlas does not see this screen, so unless you advise us, we may not know you have tried to book JetBlue nine times and actually succeeded three.
