I want to commend Atlas Travel agent Laurie Murray on providing excellent travel support. On my trip this week to Omaha, my original flight connection was going to be blown by Delta being late with the first leg of the trip.
I called Laurie when Delta only offered to put me up at a hotel for the night and rebook me on a flight the next day, which had me arriving after my meeting. While I was on the phone with her, Laurie found the one remaining connection with seats on Southwest to still get me to Omaha that night. Another passenger on the same itinerary, who had Amex Travel as his agency, started calling at the same time as I called Atlas. He was unable to get anyone at Amex to figure out the alternate connection while there were still seats and he ended up canceling his trip! Thanks to Atlas, I was able to get out and get to my meeting. If I'd had Amex as my agent, I would have had to cancel the trip!
