Marriott's 3,000th Property Underlines Its China Initiative

With the debut of the 588-room JW Marriott Hotel Beijing, Marriott International will open its 3,000th property. The hotel will open in November, along with the 305-room Ritz-Carlton, Beijing. The properties will anchor China Central Place, a new residential/office development in Beijing. The hotel is part of Marriott's overall growth in China, as another 20 Marriott International-branded hotels are scheduled to open in China through 2010.
