American Airlines To Launch JFK - London Stansted Service With AAdvantage Bonus Offer And Special Business Class Fare

Customers Can Earn Up to 12,000 AAdvantage Bonus Miles; Travel in Business Class for $1,365* Each Way, Based on Round-Trip Purchase

FORT WORTH, Texas – To celebrate its new, daily nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and London's Stansted Airport beginning Oct. 28, American Airlines has announced an exciting bonus offer for AAdvantage® members, as well as a special low fare for customers traveling in Business Class.

For a limited time, customers who fly round trip on American between JFK and Stansted in Business Class or full-fare Economy Class will earn up to 12,000 AAdvantage bonus miles (6,000 bonus miles for each one-way flight). Travel must be completed between Oct. 28, 2007, and Jan. 31, 2008. To qualify, customers need to register prior to travel at www.aa.com/offers using promotion code NYSTN.

For travel beginning Oct. 30, 2007 – March 29, 2008, American is offering a special Business Class fare between JFK and London Stansted of just $1,365* each way (based on required round-trip purchase). American will initially begin flying between JFK and London Stansted this month with one round-trip flight a day. Beginning in April 2008, American will add a second daily flight on the route. Here is American's schedule between JFK and London Stansted. All times shown are local.

AAdvantage Bonus Offer Terms and Conditions
Registration prior to travel is required. Offer applies to AAdvantage members who purchase and fly on eligible published-fare Business or Economy Class tickets (J, D, A, I, Y booking classes). To qualify, travel must be completed during the period October 28, 2007, through January 31, 2008. Twelve thousand mile (12,000) bonus offer applies to each completed round-trip or two one-way transatlantic trips on American Airlines marketed and operated flights between New York JFK and London Stansted (half the applicable bonus will be awarded for one-way travel). Bonus may be earned an unlimited number of times, and will be awarded for each qualifying trip completed during this period. Bonus miles do not count toward elite status qualification. Flights operated by our codeshare partners are not eligible for earning miles in this promotion.

Fare shown is each way based on round-trip Business-Class travel purchased on AA.com, and is in U.S. dollars. Fare shown is valid for travel originating in New York JFK on Tuesday-Saturday, and returning from London Stansted on Saturday-Wednesday. Fare is valid on flight numbers 124/125, and also on flight number 129 effective April 8, 2008. Fare is subject to change without notice. International fares are subject to government approval.

Fare does not include (a) $5 per round trip in local airport charges; and (b) September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport. For international/Puerto Rico/U.S. Virgin Islands destinations, government taxes and fees of up to $240, varying by destination, are not included and may vary slightly depending on currency exchange rates at the time of purchase.

Tickets must be purchased at least 14 days prior to departure or within one day of making reservations, whichever comes first, but not later than 11:59 p.m., Oct. 17, 2007 (Central Time).

Fare shown is valid for travel commencing Oct. 30, 2007-March 29, 2008, and completed by midnight, April 28, 2008. A Saturday-night minimum stay is required and a 30-day maximum stay is allowed.

Advertised fare is valid only on American Airlines and does not apply to other codeshare flights. Seats are limited. Fare may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change without notice.

Fare is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Changes to your ticket may be made if you meet the restrictions of the new fare and pay up to a US$350 fee plus any fare difference. Changes must be made before your ticketed flight's scheduled departure time. If you cancel your flight prior to the scheduled departure time, the ticket will be valid for one year from the date of issue for an unused ticket or one year from travel origination for a partially used ticket. If you do not cancel your flight prior to the scheduled departure time, the ticket has no value.
