Hyatt Rolling Out In-lobby Flight Check-in For Guests' Baggage

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Baggage Airline Guest Services (B.A.G.S.) to provide guests at its North American locations with luggage check-in and boarding passes before they leave or the airport. The cost of the service is $10 per person and includes storage, transportation and check-in of up to two pieces of luggage. The service is supervised by the Transportation Security Administration.

The service is available with travel on AirTran, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, Northwest Airlines, Song, Ted, and United Airlines. Hyatt properties in Boston, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, San Diego, Seattle and Tampa will be the first to offer the service. Other Hyatt properties will be brought online through the remainder of 2006 and into 2007.

Depending on location, guests can check their luggage at the hotel up to two hours prior to flight time or as long as 24 hours before departure. Once check-in is complete at a Hyatt property, guests can head to meetings or the airport free of luggage, picking it up at baggage claim in their final destination. Hyatt's B.A.G.S. service processes the luggage through airport security screening.
